Money Considered is designed so that you can use its calculators without creating an account or sharing your figures.
Your calculator information
Calculator inputs and results are processed in your browser. They stay on your device and are never included in analytics, advertising or marketing. Temporary session storage may preserve your figures while the browser tab remains open.
Home Check postcodes
Home Check needs to query external open-data services. The postcode is sent directly from your browser to Postcodes.io, HM Land Registry and, for English postcodes, the Planning Data API so that those services can return the result. Money Considered does not store the postcode, include it in analytics or attach it to an account. The external services process the request under their own published terms and privacy information.
Privacy-preserving analytics
Money Considered uses cookie-free, aggregate analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful and to improve the site. These may measure visits, page views, referral sources, general device types and countries. They are not used to identify individuals, follow people across websites, build advertising profiles or capture figures entered into calculators.
Other information
Hosting and security systems may process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser details and request information. If you contact Money Considered, the email address and message you send will be received. Please use invented or anonymised figures and avoid sending passwords, identity documents or detailed financial information.
Cookies and local storage
Money Considered uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Its aggregate analytics use no cookies or persistent identifiers. Session storage is used only to support calculator functions and clears when the tab closes.
